About CROSSTIA
CROSSTIA started from a simple idea: cross-stitch deserved a design tool as good as the ones designers use for everything else. So we built one — real editing depth for serious stitchers and pattern designers, with the simplicity to make it approachable for anyone just starting out.
CROSSTIA is currently in free public beta, shaped by feedback from the people actually using it.

October updates October 2026
- Etsy listing kit: 13 listing photos, a listing video, and your title, tags and description on an Etsy-style page.
- One-click Etsy Package: photos, video, PDFs and listing text, sorted and named for upload.
- Free accounts: your projects saved to your account and opened on any device, plus Share a copy.
- A Dashboard start page, Color Studio, a new Palette window, Motifs, Text and keyboard shortcuts.
- PDFs: finished sizes for every fabric, long titles that always fit, and a "human-made design" promise.
Beta 1.1 update September 28, 2026
- A cleaner top bar: File, Canvas, View and Panels menus, plus an always-visible Export button.
- Smaller, faster project files, and undo is quicker on big patterns.
- Need help? Tap WhatsApp at the bottom of the screen to chat with us.
- The pattern size and colour count at the bottom now stand out in green.
Beta 1.1 September 28, 2026
- Import Image is now a full workspace: live preview, before/after slider and crop. It works by touch too.
- Selections grab everything you see across layers. Tick "This layer only" when you want just one.
- New Magic Wand and Polygon Select tools, and Eraser and Fill now work on whichever layer you click.
- Your work is safer: CROSSTIA reminds you to back up important patterns.
- Truer thread colours on realistic stitches, and clearer PDFs with clickable links.
